I've watched some of the news coverage today on this, and I must say that this is making all of humanity look stupid. The media makes science look bad because they keep calling this guy a scientist who claims to have been abducted by aliens, and then they interviewed his wife-swap partner who represents the supernatural crowd and she claimed she used her psychic abilities to ask a spirit where the boy was at and was told he wasnt in the balloon.

I just saw the video on yahoo a few minutes ago. I had no idea what was going on, they just kept showing a balloon flying up. But then I read up on the story a little bit.

The boy was NOT in the balloon, it looks like it was staged. In an interview the news asked why he didn't come out of the hiding place, he said "Because it was for a show". So I think it was staged to get publicity.

the kid was found in the attic of his house.

^Yeah and the family claimed they had no idea about this "hiding place". Everything seems really fishy.

i feel bad for the family who had the crops destroyed by the vehicles who chased the balloon

The family is now facing felony charges for the hoax. Serves them right. The guy is nothing but an attention whore.

AHH YOSTUBA!!

I need to catch up on that manga, like, right now.

Oh, and this hoax is awful. Waste of time.
