Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was recently released on the Playstation 3 and has been drawing critical acclaim. As with every successful game, the talk of a sequel will immediately come up.

In a recent video interview with GiantBomb, Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig seems quite positive that Uncharted 3 will come into fruition someday. She made the following statement:

The reception on the game is so great right now. I can’t imagine that we will not be making another one. That’s not an announcement. I mean it’s just like common sense to us. And we love it. We love the characters. We love the franchise. And, like I said, we’ll keep making them as long as people keep wanting them.

Before the Uncharted series, Naughty Dog developed the Crash and Jak games, both of which saw a third release. So a third Uncharted game seems highly likely especially with the big success of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

I'd still love to see Jak IV on PS3 someday too.

Well, from what I've seen from Naughty Dog so far (back from the PS1 era to now), that won't be the case.

They didn't keep making Jak even thought there was demand :(

They are really considering a new Jak game.

They need to be careful not to milk it too much.

Well, Crash 2 was definitely an improvement over 1. But 2-3, I didn't see much of a change, so that's where I agree with you. CTR was a very well done game, even if it's a Mario Kart clone. Crash Bash wasn't developed by Naughty Dog, so it doesn't really count.

Naughty Dog was only responsibile for Crash Bandicoot 1-3 and Crash Team Racing.

I'm not too big on Crash Team Racing (though it's not a bad game), but 2 and 3 were a good experience.

They made 3 crash games and a racing crash.

They made 3 jak games and a racing jak.

So racing uncharted after 3 :O

^ If i remember right Naughty Dog only developed the first 4 Crash games before the rights to the series were sold.
