the thing is that he might wanted it for himself/or sell much more expensive on ebay. and you bought 3 of the copies.so he was bummed.

I was picking up my preorder for Uncharted 2 at best buy yesterday and presented my receipt for it and the guy went to check the preorders on the counter behind him and thumbed through a good half dozen cases of preordered games at the top with Uncharted 2 being about 3 cases from the top. i saw that uncharted 2 was clearly there with about 10 copies in the stack of about 20 games but the customer service worker came back to me with no game and my receipt in his hand and giving me some BS story about how their truck didn't come in with the game and how i should come back in a few days to see if its arrived. I then told him i could see the game from where i was standing and he got a worried look on his face as i said nothing else, basicly insisting he go get me one of those copies until he did. he then made up some shit about being unobservant but i know most likely he was being an asshole and an xbox fanboy most likely, trying to cheat me out of my preorder. (the guy was like 22 i would say so he probably does own an xbox)

as revenge i paid him with 20$ worth of quarters just to piss him off because i had the cash to pay for it all. lol

I almost peed.

One would think he (the shop person) would be please to be making these sales.

The money you are paying for the 3 games helps towards his salary.

Anyhow, I just came back from my local game store as the owner had told me the delivery will at around 10am today. Now the delivery will be at noon. I left my tel. number so he can call me when it turns up.

I have 2 copies (one for a workmate who is out of the office all day but I will be meeting later)ordered and the owner was very courteous and apologetic.

I have an idea of the price but he said he cannot give me a definite price until he has seen the invoice.

I am in the UK so the official launch is tomorrow.

well i hav never seen one in the UK but we might have a couple but they arnt a massive chain here. 

didnt know you had them in Ireland! our main chain is 'GAME' and there usually pritty good

and the reason i said '360 fanboys' is because every time i have been in there they they are talking about xbox plus they are all over 23 easy and not to steriotype but look like the average 20 something that would live on xbox Live lol

plus Wii fans are usually alright and arnt so blatently rude about the PS3, all wii fans i have meet on here we can have a great convo without anyone saying Wii is better the PS3 or the other way.

In the Uk we have a GAME and GAMESTATION , when i went to buy fight night round 4 i even took the empty ps3 case to the front, and he put a 360 disc in it, i told him he laughed and just said "sorry its just habit when i think of games to think 360" fair enough he had a joke about it, and i do have a 360 to play it on but its not the point
