I'm definitely buying Mass Effect and I'll more than like get Assassin's Creed and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga at some point (probably not this year though).

I've beat the ace combat demo 4-5 times already and still just fly around. Its a damn impressive thing.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

I'm not a platformer at all anymore. I used to love platform-type games and Super Mario 64 was probably my favorite. After that, nothing has appealed to me and I guess I just don't have the patience any more. I definitely forgot Umbrella Chronicles and I only have seen a couple of screenshots from Zack and Wiki. I probably need to research that one.

Nope, I'm not joking. I loved the demo. I really enjoy linear hack-n-slash. Def. my type of game... Graphics aren't everything to me. I agree Mass Effect looks stellar and I will get it, but sometimes I just want mindless fun and Conan fits the bill nicely.
Add to that Stranglehold. I already have it. Graphics are next-gen but by no means are they Gears of War level. I don't care because I run around blowing crap to pieces in a linear style. I absolutely love the game.
Apparantly I have a twisted sense of good games because I quite thoroughly enjoyed Red Steel as well and would buy a Red Steel 2 title in a heartbeat, lol.
