Forums - Sony - SONY : 50% of American PS3 owners ACTIVELY use PS HOME!

Remember Americans are "Fools"

lol, but Sony usually spins things around to get there way.

If I had to put a definition on active I would say multiple time a week. Probably 3-4 times a week.

Next gen PS4 should have Home from the start. Everygame has to have home content, just like everygame has achievments. Except I think they should use 'avatar' like characters, instead of mannkins.

mannkins are scary.

cartoons are fun and entertaining.

I see home (next gen, if used from beginning) acctually being a selling point for games..
so like If you buy a game, you can get a few extra exclusive clothing pieces.

I went on once at the start. Im probably more active than most the people Sony say are active...

Or maybe you people are desperately trying to spin this into lies for some bizarre reason.

I'm a little skeptical of these statistics as it doesn't seem to jive with overall statistics regarding online console gaming.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Edit: 3.3 downloaded it in Europe, and 7.5 total globally. Announced at Gamescom.

I downloaded it, but I never use it.

"Buser revealed that over 4 million Americans actively use Home, which very roughly represents half of the PS3's total userbase in the States. Worldwide, there are 8 million Home users, marking 4 million user influx over the past 6 months."

I've seen MS use this kind of reasoning where they argue that say 66% of their users USE XBL based on the numbers of accounts so this PR kind of reasoning is something that both companies do. Either way the bottom line is that Home is growing and may even someday offer something that almost everybody would want.

So we know that 8 million people have tried it once. I'd bet that most of them think it's a fail, and most of the people who didn't download it don't know what it is.
