Gears 2 was epic. If you have it, keep it. I got U2 yesterday and I'm loving it, too.

No need to compare the two. If you own the PS3 and 360, you need to own both. Both (I admit I'm not very far into Uncharted 2) are must haves.

Just play Gears 2 for an hour. I doubt you'll want to return it. And, if you do want to return it, I seriously doubt you're one of Uncharted 2's intended audience. The gun fights are actually pretty similar. U2 has lots of exploration, though.

If you really need my advice, if you already have Gears of War 2, go ahead and play it and finish.  Uncharted 2 will still be there when you're finished.

Well that's pretty harsh.

Anyways.. I believe Uncharted is a better franchise.. but Twesterm is right. Not in his delivery, oh no, but the content is spot on.

I have no idea why people do this type of thing.  If you really do need some help making up your mind why did you go and purchase a game to begin with?  It would only make you look foolish for spending money on something then returning it at a loss.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to read reviews first and decide then.....  It makes no since whatsoever to turn around and sell it so quickly.  The OP was just trying to be "cool" or make out like gears is shit.  

 

Gears 2 is nearly a year old or older so you can buy it cheap and play it.  As for U 2,  if I still had my PS3 it would be a purchase for sure.  I loved Uncharted 1, so 2 can only be better.

They're both amazing. Gears 2 is a perfect game to keep if you have friends who come over and like to play coop shooting games, as it has split-screen through the entire campaign. The single player in Uncharted 2 is probably an overall more mind-blowing experience, and I definitely wouldn't miss it.

 

Also, don't start troll threads.

wtf...this ain't no troll thread chill....i nvr opened gears 2 so i returned it and bought it again...for a cheaper price now i got enuff to get uncharted 2 as well....but i'll wait on that...and decide between modern warfare 2 or uncharted 2 after exams...
