Homebrew is mostly for old school gamers who enjoy games that date all the way back to the NES era. Also, how can you argue with playing PS1 games on the go?

If you have the money, it's a good time to get a PSP. If you can wait, it'll be even better when God Of War: Chains of Olympus comes out in March of 08.

If you really want a PSP then go for it. I don't think that the slim will be getting a price cut any time soon unless it sells like crap. I'm not saying it will though.

I got the starwars pack today. And Im happy, its a HUGE imprevement from the old psp, it feels like the ps3 controller(and weights the same), starwars renegade squadron is better than battle front 2 in my opinion, the videos on the pc dont do any justice.

And the online is best for any psp game. I want MGS so bad!!

How long will the daxter pack be in stores for?

edit- If God of War is coming out in the spring, its probably a good idea to hold off on a PSP until then, espeailly sincee I'm planning on buying a 360 this year. Final Fantasy tactics I could get off ebay for $30, Tales of the world and jeanne d'arc should also be cheaper, and sonic rivals 2 will be out. meanwhile me and my katamari and sonic rivals 1 should be really cheap by then. My only worry is that the daxter pack will not longer be avilable...

I still (personally) have no emotional attachment to the PSP, and have no desire (at all) to get one.

Its an odd thing for me - I'm not even sure why/how it happened. I think it counts as the first ever handheld I will not purchase.

I think I have reached "game saturation" point. I have so many games, and there are so many more coming out on the consoles I own - that I genuinely don't care about new platforms (for now).

By the way i just played the GoW Demo and it's EASILY the best PSP game, from graphics, to control, to sound, to gameplay... everything just seems so perfect!

does anyone know if the psp daxter pack will still be availabe around the time thad God of war:chains of olympus ships?

Doesn't say limited edition or anything but based on the sales and I just went to my local bb yesterday and they had a stack of at least a hundred and fifty to two hundred in a corner, they won't be sold out. I have it and I love my PSP but I'm sure you'll be able to find one in the stores or definetly on eBay when you plan on getting one when GoW: CoO comes out.

 I want to get one now, but if I do, I won't have enough for a 360... though if I get a PSP now, ill have enough moeny left over for age of empires 3 T.T
