"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I was never taken by Jade Empire. And I absolutely loved KotOR and Mass Effect...
Not sure I'd be all that happy with a sequel to a game I didn't really like.

Jade Empire 2 would be AWESOME, Jade Empire was one of my fav games on XBOX

i liked the game, but i didnt find it particularly deep or all that compelling. i think they could do a much better job with a new one, if thats what they want to do.

Does Microsoft still have publishing rights to Jade Empires 2? I know they were talking about making another one when they switched over to make Mass Effect

Good that would be great.

Yeah I bought Jade Empire again on Steam. I'd certainly like a follow up game. Only real issue I had with the game was the relatively shallow combat.

I was just the opposite.  I loved the combat.  I loved combining the various disciplines to get the special effects and I loved experimenting with all the different styles.  My only gripe in the whole game was that there simply wasn't enough combat to play with all the styles in a single playthrough.

WTF! Can't they just make another good KOTOR instead of wasting their time on boring Jade Empire. JE was an OK game, but a complete waste of time when it could have been another KOTOR. Oh, and the same goes twoards "Meh Effect"

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Yeah and there was not enough description on styles so you had to guess which ones will be good.

Still I'd love sequel to it as the setting was really nicely done.
