Can anyone argue against this? I have not played Indigo Prophecy so perhaps it has a lot more character control than the gameplay videos I saw. |
To better understand HEAVY RAIN, an outting with Indigo is DEFINITELY an option. I like that games like these exist, I want unique experiences. HEAVY RAIN, while similar to Indigo, will be an experience all to itself.

But I am right in my assumption that QTE time is larger than the time actually moving your character around and controlling his full movement and actions?
@Rainbird: Are you sure? I'd go and buy the game but I don't want to spend money just to see if you are lying or not. I am talking about total TIME not total number of events or anything like that.
EDIT: I guess maybe the videos are misleading, then. Why doesn't the developer release gameplay videos actually showing character movement as the majority part, then? That'd help smooth out all the controversy. The only problem is that the only place I can get the game is Xbox Live Games on Demand and that means whether I like it or not, I'm stuck with it

Well, no. There's more interaction with the character than there are QTEs. It's the main reason Cage goes on his rants in the first place. Believe me, there's MUCH more running around and charcater interaction than there are QTEs. It's just that the game DOES contain a sizable amount of QTEs, so that's what stands out to people.

Okie dokie, I'll take your word on it. I know you wouldn't lie to me, bro

At least you're taking his word for it
But I'm curious as to whether or not you're counting the dialog as QTEs?
