Forums - Nintendo - Would New Super Mario Bros Wii be better on Ds?

Hah,me a Microsoft fanboy?I think Xbox 360 is cool but I'm still Ps fanboy based on my games and gaming experience. Then again I haven't owned Xboxs but almost all Nintendo consoles.

But I have still all Sonys consoles and I have best experience with them so that makes me Ps fanboy, but I liked my Ds but then sold it out after playing all games I wanted and now I think buying new one since I have missed many great games on it.I still have my Super Nintendo and GBA Micro with it games..

But Lord that totaly wasn't needed in this thread.I didin't say anything bad about any console and you start that..
But yea, I had Wii for 3 weeks and I started to hate it really much.
But main reason for this is because I like 2D platformers on Ds and PSP.They fit perfectly for them.

I perhaps mixed up with other comments from some users.

But you didn't give proper context of your comments in the OP, making it look like you were insulting the Wii.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Notice I asked for other users opinion on topic name, and just mainly said my own opinion.

it is purely about igniting Wii sales in Japan. Much better than doing price drops, which have minimal impact.

They need to steel the thunder from FFXIII a bit, and when DQX hits damn that shit will go off the roof

Where? I don't see it in the OP?

So, does this game require multiple Wii remotes or can I use the Gamecube controller?

A Wiimote per player will be required. There was a video showing that the beanie cap requires shaking the controller up and down, which is not possible on the GC controller. However, I also suspect that you will only need the Wiimote, not a WM+ or nunchuk. (However, the latter part is speculation.)

The demo at E3 used just a remote, no M+ or nunchucks. 1-4 remotes for 1-4 players. You shake to move your bubble (you respawn in a bubble and shake around until your partner pops you), and you tilt the remote to tilt rotating platforms that you ride.

I guess we'll have to buy more Wii remotes.

The combination of that and the OP made it look like it could be more stating a fact while disguising it as a question. If that is not what you mean, I apologise for misreading it.

But to answer, no. The resolution would require the characters to be even smaller to see everything (like the first Super Mario Land), although that could still be doable, just not better.

So it would still be good, but not better.

Then again, hoping for a 4 player DS sequel is not unreasonable.
