Isn't "attempted manslaughter" contradictory? Attempted means you tried, but failed, and manslaughter means you accidentally killed somebody.

You can't accidentally try to kill somebody.

but you can fail to accidentally kill somebody.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

And this is the reason why I don't play MMO's. You say you never will subject to that kind of manner, but its addictive nature will make sure its bound to happen.

Thankfully, the guy was sent to psychiatric care...

Also, I wouldn't really blame the parents...

StarCraft is an RTS, not an MMO.

Sounds like a classic case of bi polar disorder.

You are joking right? I did psychology. Bi polar disorder is a sort of depression and the worst kind, you see it in people when they are really jolly on minute and sad the next, there was nothing happy or sad about that kid, he is just fucked up

One minute he was really jolly and playing StarCraft.  The next minute he was really sad.

WOW, I thought it said Warcraft (Which is an RTS may I add, but it reminded me of WoW). I know starcraft is an RTS.. My mistake... Talking to a friend and keeping this up is distracting.

Well, let me rephrase my statement, this is why I don't play any ONLINE COMPUTER GAMES of any sort. They are incredibly addicting. I don't even trust myself with these kind of games.

This is the true definition of owning.

This is just a serious case of someone needing a life. I swear, video games are great fun and everything, and I hope to be playing for years to come, but I can't see a case in which I would take to such an extreme. :S Was he Korean?
