Forums - Gaming - STARCRAFT player STABS GIRL after he can't get ONLINE (Disgusting)!!

Never keep an online-gamer from his drug

A Swedish teen, aged 18, has allegedly stabbed a 15-year-old girl during a rage, after a faulty internet connection left him unable to play Starcraft online.

On 9th August, the teen became furious when his internet connection ceased to work. In his rage he stormed out onto the street with a kitchen knife and attacked a girl who was walking by. The girl's multiple stab injuries were non-fatal.

The angry teen has been sentenced to psychiatric care. As the teenager's psychiatric state was not sound at the time, the attack has been classed as attempted manslaughter, as the teen had no intention of murdering the girl when he had left his house.

Some people have incredibly short fuses, that's just them. I don't think the parents are to blame for this ...

@seece

There's something seriously wrong if your child who's 18, get this angry if he can't connect online

this isn't a short fuse.....its a nuclear reactor!

Yeah there is, and he needs professional help, it sounds to me like a condition, so it's not the parents fault. Just my POV of course.

Kid doesn't have his priorities set straight. Who should set them? Parents.

nuclear reactors are safer than that

... I hope

There's something wrong with anyone stabbing anyone for any reason. That we can blame a videogame this time makes it no more interesting than all those other stabbings.

I say life in prison.

There's some fucked up people, in this world. Can't wait for another media storm, blaming video games, for every single problem in the world.

Oh man, someone have anger management problems...damn idiot.
