wen is this game suppsed to release?? and im sure how mcuh it will sell on both platforms, but it will sell more on the ps3 as most mgs fans are on the ps3.

360 games usually sells way better than the PS3...

That being said this is a different kind of game.

Not only that, the gaps are going to go way down on everything but Shooters and sports games.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is a spin off game, it's not a primary game in the series (Sort of like Dragon Quest: Monsters)

It will probably sell about half what MGS4 sold in total, with about 80% sales on the PS3.
However, if the game turns out awesome (which it might) You might get upwards of 65% MGS4 sales with 75% PS3 sales.

Spin offs never sell as well as the original.

Its not really a spin off though since it wont be a separate story like Metal Gear Acid, theres rumours its about Raiden hunting down Sunny and then Big Boss which was mentioned in MGS4.
