Forums - Nintendo - CYBERBIKE For Wii -- comes with a BIKE! (could be HUGE)!

Maybe the bike is inexpensive. ~$50-$60 for a bike that usually costs a whole lot more but is still quality could win people over.

So I'm guessing that's what we saw ^^ here a couple months ago.

It looks somewhat fun. Although as someone else said, I worry about the publisher/developer. I was hoping Nintendo was working on this game.

its days like this that i wish i was smoking pot again

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

errr people have been using bikes at the gym for ages... this is just fine. the problem though is that you'll probably have to have a game room now ^^

Nintendo is going to win the "Most Cluttered Livingroom" award.

I think Atari and Sega already won that award.  Plus 3/4 the stuff coming out for the Wii are third party add-ons like the PerfestShot, Cordless Sensor and Wiimote Charging Stand (all made by Nyko).  And of course you have the endless, worthless add-ons like attachable plastic teenis rackets or gloves that hold the Wiimote, all which do nothing for games.

As much as this idea doesn't appeal to me, at least the 'bike' is affecting gameplay, unlike the majority of junk coming out for the Wii.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

So whats so bad a bout it? How is it sadder than people in fitness studios sitting on bikes while watching TV?

Spot on. And fitness studios smell like crap.
