The annoying bits will come soon, my young padawans :p Everything you guys have done is part of the good thing of the game :p

I've already made it to the first RTS battle, it works fine I loved that I can command units and get into the battle myself, I'll take it online eventually.  It's not the hardcore RTS players RTS if they NEED the depth but I love RTS's in general and it puts a unqiue twist on the combat.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

How is some of the music used? Is there some set aside solely as a battle theme, or is it more seamless than that?

In the open world, the only mysic is from your radio in the car. On specific battles there are specific songs that mostly work really well from what I've seen so far.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The boss fights haven't been as big as I want them to, but other than that everything has been good so far, expect that Bus escort mission that was annoying :P

Gonna start playing again, took a break fromit after 4 or so hours yesterday. The comedian Brian Posehn is the vice of the hunter in those hunting side missions.

The first battle is hardly the problem and is quite fun indeed :)

Okay, I beat the game. I really wish there were around 4 or more story missions though.. What happened to diviculus was a cop-out.

And the rts battles are disappointing indeed... Right now I'm burnt out from the game, but later I will try multiplayer. Hopfully it's balanced, because the other factions seemed stronger than yours in-game.
4 vs 4 sounds like massive fun though

Hmmm I only just beat the Spider Queen and yet I've done 8 hours...

Former something....

I probably spent around 15 hours in the game myself.... But there are only like 8 story missions with most lasting 30 minutes or less each, with the exception of a couple. Oh, and check the "chapters" section on the main menu, that will tell you how long you spent in missions. Me, it said 8 hours.

This is must play for metal fans, so many awesome refferences

Just created a separate thread for this question. This might be a better place to ask:

So I'm sitting here with an unopened copy of Brutal Legend for 360, and I'm afraid to open it.*

I can't decide whether I should keep it or return it for the PS3 version. I've been playing a lot of online games on PS3 lately, so my friends list there is a lot more active. I don't want to end up wishing I had the other version.

None of my friends within the physical world are getting the game for either system, so I'm trying to see if I can find some online friends to play the game with. Who here is getting the game, and is interested in playing the action/rts multiplayer part? Anyone want to team up?

Oh -- and if you are interested, what system will you be playing on?

Play time really varies with how many side missions you do and when you do 'em.

@ Alic0004: I guess it depends how much you like the multiplayer and which console you can find ppl to play against on, but you can always play against strangers.
