Forums - Nintendo - Isnt Call of Duty 4: MWR coming out next month?

It's been stated before that demos and videos cut into development time, because they have to make the code and data fit those at that moment rather than continuing to make them fir the finished product.

Not claiming that's a certainty, but it is wrong to assuming it's certain there is no info to hide bad quality.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Look, they are probably hiding the thing because in the middle of the development cycle they decided it would be better to make the game a on-rails shooter.

Or a 2d game, played with the wiimote sideways. (the sad part? This idea dont look half bad at all)

or they realize that games on the Wii dont require as much web advertising as the HD consoles. World at War had some videos but nowhere near the barrage of media that the HD guys had.

Relax everyone. Its gonna be ok.

The game will be fine.

Internets are for catching conclusion jumpers.

I've got it pre-ordered, I hope it doesn't suck or I'll be sad :(

I think we can look at W@W Wii for this answer, where the game was basically treated the same way, and will probably launch the same way: utterly unadvertised to abysmal sales, but then later (in December, say) Activision will start advertising it, and we could end up with another million-seller.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I really don't know what to think of this move from Activision. Is it a strategy to vacuum all core and early adopters to the HD consoles and after 2 years coming back to swip the casuals and Nintendo loyalist for a quick buck???

Why the hell should I buy this game for!! Even if I had only a Wii what reason could possibly made me buy a 2 year port and not the new MW2 and a HD console? The only logical conclusion would be MONEY.

If the game do not have really low price i wouldn't even care look at it. Better spend your money on The Conduit.

They're going to complain it didn't sell because it's on the wii.

Yet no one knows this game because they're not advertising this. Yeah, some core games fail on the wii, but it's not always the fault of the wii.

No it doesn't suck, the controls are very good and it is the best looking wii game so far.

Trust me :)

Well we haven't heard anything on Modern Warware 2 also (expect it will sell 100M first 10 sec) so Infinity is prolly saving all shots to few days before launch so everyone will be "Whoa,I must get it",so early hype won't die...
Btw why its not on American top 40 preorders?

Take my love, take my land..

Because it's not going to sell more than 50k day one, if World at War is any indication.
