Forums - Nintendo - Isnt Call of Duty 4: MWR coming out next month?

Wow that is quite impressive for a Wii game. Actually I can't notice the difference between that or the PC game on low/med. Not that bad. I'm still not buying it though, already played the game to death.

none of those vids show wii footage XD

1st one is the conduit

2nd says its 360 COD4 footage

Keep it in the mid-range price and I'll buy it.

I own it on the PC but I know I'd have more fun with it on Wii, but that said there is no way I'm paying full price for a game we should gave gotten 2 years ago.

dsister44

i own ps3 and wii. I will own both version simply cause I like motion controls and I like the gfx of the HD version.

so don't go thinking only casuals are buying. There are more people play WAW online on Wii than you may think.

anything yet?

No, I expect a stealth release from them, mostly like Nintendo does these days. That way they have some sales assured from the ones that have preordered, that would have otherwise cancelled it because of how cheap it will look like. I mean, the game is weeks away from being launched and we have never seen it running. They are probably trying to avoid a justified attack on the game. They want to cash in as much as possible on it.

Fullfilled Prophecies

"Probably because not too many people are interested in a two year old port. I am thinking that most hardcore gamers are going to own a combination of the Wii and one of the two other systems. So most of the ones that wanted to play it have already played it. So the big sites are focusing more on newer game releases that they think more people are interested in.

And I know what you are going to say. Dsister there are a lot of people that only own a Wii. And like I said earlier in my post they are more than likely casuals. And I am not saying that just because you own only a Wii that you are casual, just that most of the hardcores will own more than just the Wii"

False dichotomy. And you need proof most potential game buyers have the Wii and another systems. Assumptions don't fly, especially with this economy.

Here are the numbers: "According to a new report from The NPD Group, console cross-ownership among Wii owners in the U.S. is fairly low. Wii owners, who represent 32 percent of all gamers, for the most part stick to Nintendo's console. Only 14 percent of Wii owners also own a PS3, while 26 percent also own an Xbox 360."

It's also the claim that those not owning either are casual gamers. That's the unproven BS.
