Check the update at the end of it.

I see...I don't expect the rumor to die any time soon, though, lol.

So exclusitivity exists up to ME2. So that will never go to another console or the first game. And lets be honest, there is no point bringing 3 to PS3. Way to much will have been missed. Thats like playing Shenmue 3 ( If it ever came ) and never playing the first 2. Impossible.

Well, there were no previous Devil May Crys on Xbox either. That was SOLELY a PlayStation franchise. Either way, I don't believe this will be on PS3 either, but my point stands.

I see your point. But that sort of game you can get away with, because the combat is the best bit. Look at NG2, Majorly crap story, yet amazing game due to simply the best fighting system in any game of the genre. Whereas Mass Effects major pint is it's awesome Sci Fi story. What a ride it is.

The issue is we don't know the deal that was signed by Bioware and M$...what we DO know is that M$ spoke about them having a deal, when Bioware was first bought by EA. Now...they might be trying to wiggle out of it, but clearly, if there wasn't something in writing, the game would have been billeted as multi-console format. Maybe it's an exclusivity deal on consoles, and not extended to the PC, but I don't think it's timed like the Japanese deals. The original game was published by M$ on the console, and EA on the PC. To refresh the issue, back at the end of 2008, it was announced

that EA would publish the game on the PC and Console…so…do people honestly believe that M$ just willingly give those rights back to EA, for a game that is probably going to ship well over 2 million games for free? EA is a company struggling to make a profit, and getting those rights back is going to be a sizable deposit into it’s profit coffers. I think the game is going to be bigger than Fable 2, and M$ smarten up, after Tecmo was able to wiggle out of it’s contract of exclusivity for Ninja Gaiden. In this case, the game was pitched to M$ as a trilogy…if M$ didn’t sign an ironclad agreement to ensure its exclusivity, they deserve to lose it.

I don't think Mass Effect would even sell well on Sony platforms either. For now, I'll take it's exclusivity for granted. The only reason I was skeptical is because we've seen crazy things happen this generation.
