If you live in the United States (I'm not sure if Canada get's the sale or not), Toys R Us is having their annual buy 2 get 1 free sale, on all new video games starting tomorrow ending the 17th, which has to be one of the best game sales ever. I thought it would be fun to have a thread for people to state which games they were getting, ask for help in choosing some of the games, or braggining about the deal the just got.

I haven't bought any DS games in awhile and so I am planning on buying Mario and Luigi 3, Scribblenauts, and possibly Legendary Starfy.  I'm sure of the first two, but could possibly be talked out of Starfy if other people have suggestions (keeping in mind I'm not a fan of RPGs besides the Mario and Luigi Series).

So what about everyone else, are you planning on taking advantage of the sale, if so what games are you planning on picking up?

If you get their late, usually the good games are gone. I end up driving around to the other Toys R Us stores to see what they got. I also ask them when they get new shipments in so I can get new releases for that week.

How come nobody has B1G1 free anymore? It's always "B2G1" or "Buy 1 get 50% off next purchase".

I hope its in Canada. I plan on getting two cheap Wii games, and a really good PS3 game.

Games have a very small profit margin, and buy one get one free doesn't really get a customer to purchase more than they intend to.  With buy one get the next 50% or B2G1 free it causes them to buy additional things that they likely wouldn't have if not for the offer.

I've been a fool. All year, I've splurged and bought on impulse. Now, when the holidays are hitting, and the big deals are coming, I only have enough disposable income for Uncharted 2. On the plus side, I pretty much have everything I could want. I guess I have to wait for Gamestop's buy 2 get 1 free USED gamer sale.

It would've been Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and A Boy and His Blob, though.

@pbroy, wow that is quite the collection of games you are planning to pick up, nice job. Anybody else planning on taking advantage of this deal?
