Forums - Microsoft - Finally have my copy of Magna Carta 2!!!

I want this game!

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

I might pick this up when it hits the bargain bin. Provided that I like what I read in the reviews. From impressions posted by others so far, it seems like it would be alright.

Just got the game myself. Hope its good.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Nice to know its good.

If I do get this game, I'll be sure to do my opinion on it as well. (Depends on what Toys R US has for the Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale)

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I got Magna Carta 2 on Friday and been playing it nonstop. Combat is like a breath of fresh air compared to other jrpgs. Story is cliche but that is to be expected. Graphics isn't as great as Lost Odyssey but the large environments are still quite beautiful.

For those who like Jrpgs, you should try this game.

On the side note, the game's development has a strange background. It was developed by a Korean developer, funded by an American company, and published by a Japanese publisher. So what is it really, a JKARPG (Japanese Korean American Role Playing Game)?

I took a closer look at this. After all the jrpg burnout I've had, this looks like it would be pretty fun and be more interesting than the combat in Tales and Eternal Sonata (which is often praised but I was bored of those battle systems). Though I'll never know until I play it myself. I like that the koreans add something different to the formula. It's similar to a jrpg but it also looks like it's influenced by online rpgs/MMOs, which are way more popular in Korea than jrpgs.
