hey man about 90% of rap artist suck

soooo yea its understandable why its so hated when rap music is so popular, when kids should be listening to something alot better and more insitefull.

music now a day suck imo rock (seems to be this hardcore shit), especually rap and hip hop (mind you it seems that hip is the best out of the 3...dont listen to it but it seems to be the better)

kids need to listen to the legendary bands from the 60s,70s, 80s and even 90s

imo rap was never good music, its fun entertaining music with some rare atrist having thought full lyrics but even so its not great.  Another reason why people hate rap is because it makes black people look so bad, i hate it!

1. the rap artist thinks hes the shit (when he is not) he thinks he is so tough and so gangster.

2. then kids follow in this assholes foot steps, usually black kids and some white kids, don even start me on asian gangtsers..... if the black community want to listen to something with african american culture listen to real music, listen to jazz or funk!!

i'm trinidadian/ chinese and i listen to all kinds of music japanese, uk, american, german (why cant more people be open to other cultures music? when ever i say a listen to X japan (goldy japanese band!) peolple look at me in shock for listen to a japanese band, its stupid)

imho i dont take about 95% of rap seriously or consider it good music.

listen to real music people....not stupid bands like "stereos" or "lady gaga" or "green day" or "insert rap artist here"...however i can admit that eminem and some and i mean some kanye west (not as good as he thinkgs though) are good

Commercialize rap sucks...as does commercialize music of any genre...commercial Jazz..sucks...pop music...generally sucks...rock...sucks...etc...sucks...sorry, but if eminem is you're example of true hip-hop...you need to dig ALOT deeper to get to real hip-hop.

real hip-hop is great, but eminem is not real hip-hop. He used to be.

Don't get me wrong...I like to listen to that commercial stuff every now and then, but I can rattle off a littany of Hip-Hop artists out there that aren't commercial...take the Roots for example...they refuse to go commercial...sure, they might do a commercial track here and there, but as a whole, their albums are all about what Hip-Hop is about.  Of course the posterboy for non-commercial Hip-Hop, Talib Qweli, is alway a fave of mine...and so many others...Rap Music is no different then any other form...it's just how much legwork are you going to do.

What the fuck is that suppose to mean? Im a huge rap fan are you implying that anyone that listens to rap is automatically illiterate? Stop the bullshit please, I've listen to about every genre of music and I can say some of the deepest and most heartfelt songs come from the Rap/Hip-Hop genre. God damn it, I feel like I'm having a flashback of the time Seece said Hip Hop and Rap isnt music. 

And for everyone that is saying Rap is nothing but getting kids to join gangs and partake in violence, then I guess I can say Heavy Metal, Rock and Roll encourages kids to cut themselves and act all fuckin emo and shit.
