'Fireflies' off of said Owl City album is a pretty rad song.

Oasis have been dead in the water for a long time. I can't think of anything good they have released this decade. 90's were fantastic for them. I was glad that they broke up because their song writing ability had gone. At least this way we can remember them for the good stuff instead of the bad. It will be a bit like Jimi Hendrix, the reason his music is remembered so well is because he died whilst he was at the top of his game.

In your opinion,

now, in my opinion, Oasis had a great career and 2 stunning albums, 2 great albums and 3 good albums, they also have the best b-sides ive ever heard, I think Noel's songwritting is by and large great and I really like them. Liam's songwritting is patchy, certainly prior to Dig Out Your Soul, I didn't rate him as songwritter (superb vocals though), I like his stuff on the new album though, a touch simplistic, but good nonetheless.

The first half of the year was really bad as far as music is concerned but from August till the end of this year there are a lot of great albums at least in the hip hop category that have come out/are coming out.
