Cheat requests are requests from other users for help on a game. You can answer their requests by going to the game page and entering a FAQ or other cheat/walkthrough/guide.

You can disable them, or set them to only games you own if you want in your profile.

No, I never answered or created a cheat request. I think I just disabled them at some point (I can't check it because with this error message you can't see your control panel at all, only the logout option still show ups and is clickable).

ioi, your assumption that it has to do with enabling/disabling the cheat requests option was correct. I checked my profile and found out how to get rid of the error message:

What I said above was wrong, I actually had NOT disabled the cheat request function, I still had it on "Always".

The error message appears (at least with my account) when the "Notify me of cheat requests" option is either on "Always" or "For games I own".

The error message does not appear when "Never" is selected for this option.

No, I mean when I look at the cheat requests, I see the message.

I assume the error meesage you see on the cheat request page is a bit different from the error messages I saw underneath my control panel (different lines mentioned at the end):

I'm theoretically getting this error message as well but I don't care at all, as I'm not interested in the cheat requests anyway and I disabled them now and forever. I'm just glad my control panel is fixed now.
