Dynamix'/Sierra's Red Baron series is probably the most famous franchise with a WWI setting, but flight sims were only popular in the 80s and 90s.

i thought Valkyria Chronicles had a sort of World War 1 style kinda story....

Western Front is boring. Nothing ever really moved.

Germany defeated the Russians and signed an agreement with the newly in charge Communists

Couple of smaller fronts, but overall WW1 is just boring.

Also the Germans/Habsburgs who started the war where never really defeated but just could not go on any longer. It was not an allied succes story.

And the nazi shootin thing. You know how people love shooting them nazis. They're just so goddamn evil!

Maybe they could being nazis from the future into WW1 so people would feel better. Maybe a couple of Hitler clones for the boss battles.
