i still don't get what all the format fuzz is all about, i mean, who cares, ill stick with plain dvds.

It's about interests/tastes Neos. sheesh......
@choirsoftheeye- To appreciate HD you don't need to spend $5000 on a television.

I would be the first to agree that HD really isn't much of an issue in terms of comparison with the more traditional DVD, but I also think that HD media is quickly growing and therefore deserves attention.
So there were 71 blu-ray movies and 29 hd-dvd movies sold last week. Sounds about right.

I was just trying to contrast hardware and media sales. I see what you're saying, though. "Software" would technically include ps3 games as well.
