25 Million PS3's sold world wide :D

approx 1,584,778 PS3 sold in the last 5 weeks thats a 316,956 average per week (!)

Which is 6.3% of all PS3's sold in its life time...in 5 weeks.

52-53 weeks a year, Ps3 is 3 years old next month thats 155 weeks of PS3 sales (not counting full third year, thats 161k sales average per week since launch just over half of the average for the past 5 weeks (805,000 in 5 week periods)

Making the average % of PS3 sales in a 5 week period 3.25% thats Half the current 5 week %tage.

Now if PS3 sales stable out at 220-250k per week that would be 1,100,000 consoles in a 5 week period it would level out anyway from 4.4% per 5 week period to 4.5% with a high of 5%.

These numbers are NOT taking into account the holiday boost so i will not do the math to figure out PS3's total sales year ending December 31st Nor the fiscal year.

@headshot91 -> it will last until January for sure - the holiday period will keep it going. In 2010 im guessing PS3 will be up YoY for the first 8 months, but will need a August/early September price cut to keep momentum into 2010 holiday period (unexpected Wii/360 price cuts may effect Ps3's performance though)

@headshot, PS3 sales have been increasing for the past 2 weeks, I dont see it slowing down with Uncharted 2, MOD2, Tekken 6, FFXIII.

PS3 will maintain 200k+ weeks until Black Friday. From then on it's just going to explode.
