Forums - Nintendo - Another "Choose My Game" Thread... :/

Sorry. :(

I just can't figure out what to get.

Before the holidays, I save up enough cash so I can get one game to keep me occupied until Christmas. Problem is, I'm not sure what to get.

Here's my choices:

Wii:

New Super Mario Brothers Wii

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Cursed Mountain

Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics

DS:

Professor Layton and the Diabolic Box

Scribblenauts

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

Some Notes:

1. I have $0. I'm not going to start saving up until I definitely know what I want.

2. Release Dates don't matter to me.

3. I have no preferences for what I want.

annnnnnnnnnnnd...... GO!

You need to get Viva Pinata for the DS.

On Wii: my last games were Little King's Story, Wii Sports Resort, and Metroid Prime Trilogy... all highly recommended... and for the rest of the year, i'm lookin' for Muramasa, A Boy and his Blob, and New Super Mario Bros Wii: i think they're easily worth the full price...

On DS: nothing recently, but by the end of the year, i'll have Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, Professor Layton's Pandora Box, Scribblenauts, and the Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks... so, exactly the same as the ones in your list... i guess you have good tastes... ;)

So, my only recommandation would be: try to play all these, and beware because 2010 will be even harder for our wallets... :)

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

I'm tempted to say either Inside Story or Spirit Tracks.

I would say NSMBWii and Spirit Tracks, because that's what i'm getting. Bowser's Inside Story if you at all liked the previous entries (i never tried 'em), since it's supposed to top them.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Easily

Without a Doubt

That'd be my choice

ok, out of the games you listed, Cursed Mountain will probably be the worst quality wise. Doesn't mean you won't enjoy it, but keep that in mind.

Now, if you just want a game that you will play for a long time to keep you busy til Christmas, get Metroid Prime Trilogy. Every single one of those games was great, and you are looking at 60+ hours of gameplay even if you know what you are doing and your name isn't Rolstoppable.

New Super Mario Bros. would be my second choice due to the large amount of gameplay that can be had with that.

Professor Layton would be 3rd, as it is out now and will last you at minimum 10 hours, and possibly up to 20. It is also the second best puzzle game only behind Curious Village.

I personally will be buying NSMB and Spirit Tracks next.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

The obvious question is have you played the Metroid Prime games before? If not, then Metroid Trilogy. NSMBWii is going to be amazing.. Cursed Mountain is good but very slow in parts.

ONLY NINTENDO GAMES!!?? ARRRGGHHH *bullet trough the head*

NSMBWii seems to be a must buy, but Metroid Trilogy is a huge gaming experience. I wouldn't miss either A boy and his blob or Final Fantasy Cristal Bearers.
