9/11 was an inside job

Yeah because ruling over half of the world population for 500 years sure doesn't compare........ |
What kind of history classes did you take? The British Empire didn't dominate half the world for anywhere near 5 centures. It was at it's most powerful for a single century, and even then it had lost the US. Sure, imperialism went on from ~1580-~1915, but that didn't mean they magically ruled the half the planet the whole time. Until 1815 with the defeat of Napoleon, they were constantly battling it out with France, Spain, and the Netherlands for supremacy.
OT: Sensationalists will always be looking for something to cry over. Just ignore them and move on.

Doesn't compare to what? Complete and utter military, economic, technological power, and conference-diplomacy dominance over the entire world? |
That's the British again, and Romans, etc but not America.
I don't think it has any bearing on 9/11. Whoever posted that is a moron. But, I was a little shocked that it was in DC. I'm looking forward to it.
Maybe It will be a DLC, kind of like how they released more missions with fallout 3 and other games....maybe adds to the future story line ....Maybe that is the end of the game which leads into modern Warfare 3....People really should not get all bent out of shape over it, It is a game for crying out loud.

Some points:
1 - this "attack" on MW2 seems kinda unfounded when I just got back from a trip blowing up faces of mutants and mercenaries in the capitol in the year 2273...
2: Alexandre couldn't come to the party, he was too busy taking a trip all the way from fucking Macedon to India on horseback, then still winning.
3: US Supremacy debate: You two (Samual and detractors) - are both right. No other country has been this influencial from the far east to the west and back. Listen to Rammstein's "We're all living in Amerika" and you see the point. It's also rare that a country has been such a power both in diplomacy and militairy.
BUT!
All previous empires mentioned fought for control abroad in many nations against hostile people. The Romans had a quite firm control over Europe and Northern Afrika for centuries. The British held a lot of shores across Afrika and Asia, etc. Both struggled with revolts and guerilla-style warfare by the way.
The US isn't holding anything outside of their own country, can't even contain two countries who are at the very least 30 years behind in warfare WITH the help of the international community. That doesn't scream dominance in a militairy sense.

While I'm not really insulted either way, I would be more insulted at the idea that russia would just go ballistic like they do in that story, and that though they get close, in the end the valiant americans defeat them and save world peace.
Sigh almost 10% of the nation doesn't have/can't find a job, an financial debt that the youth may pay of for decennia and what do they care about? If their country is a superpower or not :/

I'm talking about the Roman empire which is the historical example I brought up earlier in this thread...
