Ps3 owners/Sony fans are truly a special group of people lool.

They practically run the forums, despite the ps3 being in third position. When it comes to the forums/Internet discussions Ps3 owners/Sony fans dominate the forums. They are the most fiersome and ruthless debaters you will ever come accross. There is no point in arguing with them, they will name games that have never been announced, they specialise in listing the best exclusives on their platform with many games 3/4 years until release. Quite frankly impossible to counter.

They are without doubt the most entertaining, without them the forums would be a dull and peaceful place. You speak to any member or moderator which set of fans they love they will tell you instantly Sony fans. Any Gaming Forum you go to, Sony fans are sure to be calling the shots they will always somehow find a way to outnumber both Wii and 360 owners. The Sony section of any Gaming forum is a dangerous place to go, in it you will find:

Non stop PR advertising for Sony
Non-stop hype for games that are 2 years away
Constant ps3 celebrations
Calculations/theories as to when the Ps3 will win the console war
Continues praise for Metal Gear Solid 4
Many fights between Ps3 owners and 360/Wii owners.
Reasoning as to why the ps3 has the greatest library

Without question the Sony Section of the forums can at times be a disturbing place to visit, but one thing is for sure it will leave you entertained somehow.

Sony Fans specialise in derailing threads they can somehow manage to turn an Xbox 360 related topic into a ps3 one. An example would be Selnor posts a thread about Forza 3 graphics in the first 5-10 posts the discussion are about Forza 3, in the next 10 -25 posts the discussion is about how Gran Turismo 5 will outsell Forza 3. Some posters may try and get the topic on back on Forza 3 but its pointless by that time 30 screenshots and several videos of GT5 have already been posted lol.

On VGchartz.com Sony Fans have a huge presence on the site, some Sony fans are Gaming Historians, Journalists, philosophers, Gaming Analysts, entertainers, marketing specialists, PR specialists, the hype control and some specialise in the art of stealth trolling. Most of them have earned a degree in marketing and advertising. They have even at one point played a Nintendo/Microsoft console rendering them the reputation as neutral as they come.

The Sony fans of VGchartz are an elite group of members, many have tried to join this elite group but they have failed miserably. The requirements of joining this elite group are:

Must have at least 2 alt accounts for security reasons
Must own a Ps3+360/Wii in order to become neutral and undercover
Must undergo special ops training
Must earn a degree in advertising and marketing
Needs to become good friends with a moderator

As you can see from that list only the most dedicated fans will enter.

Sony fans are also the most misunderstood set of fans, they have gone through real hardship from the ps3 launch til mid 2008. At times their celebrations, trolling, non-stop advertising and anger may sometimes come accross as odd. But when you consider all the hard times they went through e.g. Disastrous launch price and games. These emotions/Frustrations become more understandable and in time accepted. This generation Sony fans have been tested to the max and they shown that they are without doubt the most passionate set of fans. In this moment of time over 100m+ ps2 owners are still waiting to jump in, but they are afraid to jump in considering whats at stake. They will jump in once Sony makes a profit on every console sold now thats what I call dedication.

Vgchartz I think you will agree with me when I say that Sony fans/ps3 owners are the most misunderstood, dedicated and passionate set of fans you will ever come across.
