This. Why would I want Prime 1 (my favourite ever game) and Prime 2 redone with controls I dislike?

OMG that's the exact same order as mine! I'd add Metroid 2 (GameBoy) between the original Metroid and Metroid Prime 2.

Frankly I don't care a ton for the first 2 Primes. However the 3rd one I think is awesome. Not to bash the first 2, they were great graphical showcases for the GC, I just never could get into them.

Metroid Prime was to me just like Zelda:OOT .. simply awsome and the best game experience i've ever had.

Personally I think the Prime series as a whole is one of the best FPS type of game out there.
Reason is because its 3 phenomenal full length games that still hold up against the test of time. The gameplay found in Prime 1 and 3 are still better than most FPS games out today.
I haven't played Prime 2 yet but Prime 1 and 3 have the best combos of action, exploration, and puzzles that are possible in a FPS in my mind. While it may not have the best of one thing it has a very nice blend of everything which provides a complete experience. Keep in mind that I have all platforms and that the FPS genre is my favorite.

I would like to see a better tutorial level than the one in Prime 1.
Retro should be proud and I am excited to see their next project!!

Since I don't see why the original poster hates the game, well I can tell I'm loving it so far and I beat 100% the first two.

Just look at my sig to see what I think of Prime.
