Metroid isn't for everyone - not enough of a shooter for fps fans, too much of a shooter for action-adventure fans. At least you gave it a go

I gave the Prime series a try. I tend to agree it's just not my cup of tea. I don't like the FPS perspective though I like the Third Person perspective more. It also felt to much like an FPS as an explorer rather than an explorer with an FPS feel. I also felt like 2 & 3 were adding a gimicky game play element than focus on what Metroid does best. Overall though I can't say it's a bad game, just not one for my own taste.

I didnt like Metroid Prime 3. So I didnt buy triology.

Metroid: Other M will be much better than the prime series, that said, I love the prime series :P
