I'm getting a PSP probably next month so I need some help with something. I know the PSP Go is 249.99 and brings internal memory of 16 GB and bluetooth, but no UMD slot. A friend of mine told me hes just gonna spend 170 on a psp 3000 and just insert a 16 GB card in it for memory and itll be the same knowing the psp go main difference is its design. I ask myself the same question as well. Whats so different about the 3000 and the go. I know the 3000 has a mic and i think a camera idk and Go has bluetooth and is smaller and slides to show the buttons. I dont know what would be the use of the bluetooth unless is for linking with PS3 but i can do it with my wifi. Also the fact that i have GTA vice city stories and Liberty city stories on UMD from my old and now sold PSP, how would i play it?

I wanna hear the VG community's opinion on this. Was my friend right? Should I just go for the 3000 to save myself money. Does the PSP Go features relevant? What do U think? I appreciate the help

I'm in the same situation, but I've decided to go with the PSP Go the whole "having your games in one place" intrigues me, and the 16Gig of Memory is also really good, being able upgrade it to 32Gb is very cool aswell. For me who gets a bus to College being able to spend that time games, watching movies, listening to music, browsing the internet (which I hear you don't need to be in a WiFi hotspot aslong you have a Mobile that has Bluetooth you'll be able to use it to browse the internet on your PSP). I really like the thought of being able to copy over video files to watch; Its a long day in College I whip out my PSP Go, and begin to watch an Episode of "The Simpsons"...Ohhhh yeah

One of the benefits is that it's a lot smaller. You can carry it in your pocket when it's in a case. I think that's something important depending on how you plan on using it.

I think size is actually a huge feature and probably might be the deciding factor.

As a commuter I need something smaller so the PSP GO works a lot better for me. The 16 gigs is nice since I could already load it up with mp3s and movies. If you end up buying a 16 gig card, then I don't think you really save any money.

If you want all digital content (like the iPhone) go PSP Go...

If you want physical along with digital, or just physical, go PSP-3000
