As a new mod I figured I would take the time out and post something up about this.

There has been many compaints about issues with the database. To stream-line the management and fix issues and errors I would like to request that any issues that needs to be resolved to be either posted here or PM'd to me. The other moderators and I will be working with ioi to get everything as correct as possible. 

Thanks in advance for any assistance by pointing out flaws in the database. 

 oh i'm looking for multiple entries of the same game and other things that are just odd and pointless. Like the fact we have 5 entries for Wolfenstein 3D. Pointless. 

I know i have seen various multiple entries for som of the Resident Evil games.... There are the different versions on different consoles but there are some repeats on the same console....And i don't see the point in having both PS1 versions of Resi2 (one being dualshock compatible...surely that can be explained in one entry)

I never look at the games database. But I have a lot of free time, I'll cruise it for you and point out whatever I can find for you. You'll need some help with this one, that database is huge.

bah the site failed me again, i think ioi is still trying to adapt to the new server.

anyhoo i found which Resi games were duplicates and tried to post them 10 minutes ago...

Resident Evil 0 has both a "0" and "zero"
Resident Evil (GC) also has one titled with "remake"
Resident Evil (PS) also has a "directors cut" edition, but i am not sure of the differencesso that may be ok.
Resident Evil 2 (PS) has a second version saying "DualShock" on it.

I might have another scout.

Well I just went through and cleared out a bunch of duplicates with no data in them. I think i might start going through and adding data to games too.

There are two entries for Guitar Hero II for PS2, each with different sales numbers:

Guitar Hero II

and

Guitar Hero 2

Two entries for God of War II:

God of War 2

and

God of War II 

I'll help ssj deal with this issue as well.
