It didn't even occur to me until now but did Pokemon give DS any boost at all? Adding the two models together it's basically flat with last months numbers. I don't think the decline in Wii sales this month can be entirely atributed to the price cut. Other than Pachter's prediction we didn't hear any real rumors about the price cut till the week of the 14th. I think the upshoot in PS3 demand is what cut into Wii's numbers, at least for the first two weeks. I'm really looking forward to how things play out in October.
