To all ps3 owners aside from using the ps3 for gaming, are any of you avid blu ray fans/supporters?

I use my ps3 for gaming but when im not gaming im using it to watch a blu ray movie, its a joy watching a movie in Blu ray granted you have the right set-up to enjoy HD movies. Just last night I was watching Fast and the furious on blu ray it just blew me away. I've only just started my Blu ray collection. Once you've experienced Blu ray is hard to go back to dvd's!

Blu ray is indeed becoming a great selling point for the ps3, with the format set to go mainstream next year.

What are your thoughts on Blu ray? What's your fav Blu ray movie? Any movie you're anticipating for Blu ray?

I only have 4, so my fave for now is Pineapple Express :p though that might change when I buy Lost in Translation or Hero on BluRay

I've quite enjoyed the holy grail of blurays (planet earth), as well as a few other movies. My collection remains small (4 movies + planet earth + other bbc nature stuff) due to me being a student who would rather spend my limited entertainment dollars on games, and the pursuit of beaver.

I only own 7 blu-ray movies. However, this is only the start of my collection. I am waiting for more shows to come out on br. I just bought The Wizard of Oz on br last night and it is amazing! It looks great, especially for a movie that came out in 1939. It's still a classic in my opinion. There is one movie that I am waiting for to come out in br and that movie is Titanic (1997). I absolutely love that movie and to see it in hd would be AWESOME!!

Oh yh im also buying wizard of oz, Titanic is fantastic that will be made even better on blu ray.

2010 will be the key year for blu ray when titles such as back to the future trilogy, jurassic park, lord of the rings, fantasia, beauty and the beast. finding nemo, indiana jones and hopefully Titanic. Most studios are waiting for sales of blu ray to pick up so 2010 looks good. 2011 Lion king baby

Apart from the loading time I love watching blu-ray on my ps3, i'd recommend watching the incredible hulk on blu-ray as it looks and sounds absolutely stunning, my fave blu-ray so far, until lotr of course :)

nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

Yeah, definitely buy the Wizard of Oz :).

I can't wait for next year. My blu-ray collection will definitely get bigger. I love LOTR, Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo, and etc.

I need to get the Harry Potter movies on blu-ray also and soon. I just need to get a second job to get enough money :). Blu-ray is

freakin' AWESOME!!
