I plan on my first time drinking be when I turn 21 and to have a glass of very fine wine from Australia. Penfolds premium.

@outlawauron. I don't think you will enjoy a wine, no matter if it is a fine one, without adjusting to the taste first. I'd personally start on more mediocre wines then work my way up.


I would have lost my alcohol virginity quite young, must have been about eight when my parents first let me have small amounts of wine with dinner.

First got drunk when I was 13, my mates dad thought it would be amusing (which is kind of terrible and kind of funny).

Ah, well, my Dad is a wine collector of sorts, and I definitely don't on flushing my money down the toilet by actually buying alcohol.

Think I was 3 or 4, in any case not tall enough to reach the sink for some water, not strong enough to drag a chair over there myself. My parents had guests over and disliked being interrupted by me so I decided to look for something to drink on my own. So there was a glass of whisky on the counter and I sort of took it bottoms up.

Proceeded to scream and cry down the place.

My parents don't drink alcohol at all, so I didn't really have a chance to accidentally drink some when I was a kid, and as I grew up I just turned out to be consciously against it, too.

As in getting drunk, hmm, summer of 2006/2007. Not sure. It was with my brother and his classmates.
I haven't gotten drunk many times after that as well, somewhere between 5 and 10 times probably.

My family is pretty relaxed about drinking so I could always try my parents wine or beer if I asked so I guess I would have been under 10. I didn't properly drink a lot till I was 15 though. In England its pretty easy to get served at pubs or off licenses when you are underage so the drinking culture is pretty different compared to America from what I heard and saw over there.

Now when I drink I try to stick with spirits like tequila, but I can't say no to a cold pint of tuborg or kronenburg.

when i was maybe 9 or 10 my mum would let me have a little drop of cider on Hogmanay with my shortbread :D

the first time i actually "had a drink" was when i was 17, at prom.

I was about 13 when I got drunk for the first time, I've been doing it regularly (like 2-3 times a month, usually) for about two years. Weed since the start of this year.
