The logic makes perfect sense.

In a typical Mafia vs. Town game the mafia have no need to read the thread other than to figure out what the power roles are. They can simply look for some role claims and then pick people off. They already know who is mafia/town.

A game with Mafia/Town/Werewolves is a little more complicated, but if the mafia doesn't care about the werewolves to start off with then they can also ignore the thread, not post, and simply look for power roles. WoW would already make a decent target to the mafia/werewolves as he claims to know all the werewolves and is working on the mafia. All I'm saying, is a lazy mafia doesn't need to read posts.

Wow, but that doesn't necessarily mean the warewolves in this game are like that. Does it?

There just another faction. There's the townies, who are trying to win by getting rid of all of the werewolves, mafia, and any serial killers that may or may not be in this game.

Then, you have the mafia who are trying to kill off all the townsfolk and werewolves so they can win.

The werewolves are trying to kill the mafia and townies so they can win.

And if there is a serial killer, then they want to be the last person alive so they can win.

Basically, if you're a townie, you want to kill anyone who isn't also town aligned, and the werewolves/mafia/serial killer (again, if there is one) are anti town.
