Who said that? I never said you weren't allowed to edit. In fact, I'm not sure where that rule came from, I've never seen it written but people mysteriously always quote it

Nah, that's my point. I've checked and rechecked and never found that rule (except on the DN thread, where it's clearly stated). In fact, I have been editing my posts in previous games since I never found that rule, there's nothing that prevents me from doing that

hang on, i never voted! when it says 'no lynch', does that mean no one's voted for YOU, or that YOU haven't voted for anyone? ...um that was slightly confusing... seriously it says 'no lynch' in front of my name. does that mean I haven't voted for anyone, or that i'm safe?

It's a standing forum mafia rule in most every place where forum mafia is played.

It prevents people from realizing that they screwed up and removing their slip-up later.
