Heh, the Wii almost outsold the entire year of PS3 in just the month of December.

Japan: 28th November to 2 january:

PS3: 626k

Wii: 820k

Japan 2009

Wii: 2.02 Mln

PS3: 1.83 Mln

Worldwide 28th November till 2 january

Wii: 6.9 Mln

PS3: 3.6 Mln

Worldwide 2009:

Ps3 12.5 Mln

Wii: 21.4 Mln

I think you exaggarated a bit. Japan was almost same for PS3 and WII and Wii sold not 12.5 Million in december not even close. The PS3 did respectable this year especially in japan considering it was most of the year at 399 .
