I was just playing the Uncharted 2 demo when I backed out onto the XMB (quit game) I noticed Dead Space did not show up.. I ejected the disc and reentered it, nothing I tried a few games nothing, blu ray movies, nothing, it did read CD's though.

this is what I did, I did the CD in but only half and kept it out with my fingers (holding it) the blu ray drive started spinning faster and when I pulled the CD out I saw that there was dust all over it.. I then put in a PS3 game and it worked again.. Is this what is causign disc read problems???

you can buy cleaning discs can't you? they're not very expensive, because most systems (DVD players, CD players etc) get dust in them at some point, and if you dont deal with it they can scratch up your discs.

no holy shit draws attention :D, but I am so glad that I found a fix for it even if it might be temporary and since lots of people have this problem if this fix would be a decent fix I might get FAMOUS :D
