Forums - Sony - just bought a psp-go today and loving it so far

Mostly it's the price. If they were 120$, it wouldn't be so bad. But you know, they aren't.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... The only problem, for you, is the lack of the full CC and Dissidia, the former certainly in the top few PSP games

Dissidia is no problem for me. Full CC minus Dissidia and pocket pool and I would be okay

I wonder if you will be so happy once you get $40 game you don't like and notice you can't do anything about it :)

People against digital only games come off as retrograde to me. It's not evil reincarnated. What it is, is a new system and as such the kinks will be worked out as we go along. If you want to contribute to its beginning, you can, if you don't, then refrain from it.
Do not, however, scream and run in circles in denial because it is the direction we are facing and walking to.

As for myself, I would love to have a PSP go. I'm waiting for the time when there are third party digital stores (ex.: GameStop or Amazon or GAME stores, where you can buy digital only versions as well, spawning price competition. I believe they are coming as well.) and when the device isn't as expensive as it is now.

Got one yesterday as well, besides games its already replaced my ipod touch. Took it the gym to listen to music while working out and about 7 people asked about it lol

Yeah you got it, it has replaced your ipod touch. Thats what sony is aiming for, they are not trying to sell you less for more, they didnt discontinued the psp 3000. They want to sale small multimedia player that also play games. They are in the right price point if you compare to Ipod video, ipod touch...

The reviewers and most peoples completely missed the point. Also most games on PSN is cheaper then retail right now. If I was not into hacking like euphoria14 I would get one for sure. I think the PSPgo will prolly also sales to peoples that dont even wanna play games.

Bottom line: the PSPgo is not compare to what it should when reviewed. It offers so much more than a Ipod video/touch for almost same price.

When I showed it to people they all wanted one too...

One of my friends said she just wanted it to watch videos, and maybe get a game like scrabble.

The fact that it's small, looks cool, and has a great screen are huge to the general public.

Please could you actually give valid reasoning for your outrageous opinion on digital distribution being the future?

Why should we not "scream in denial"?

Why should we listen to you?

Why do you think there will be 3rd party digital stores? Are you insane? There will never be 3rd party digital stores on a CLOSED DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OWNED WHOLEY BY A COMPANY, to think that a company would give up a potential slice of their main revenue generator other than the ridiculously overpriced hardware is laughable...

...Very uninformed and ignorant post!

There goes another one screaming past by in denial...

I need more popcorn.
