Improves on almost every aspect of the first game. Graphics (which are still tops to this day) are slightly improved, and framerate is more stable. Multiplayer to this day is broken in its lagginess, time to connect and nonsensical level system but is still lots of fun. Campaign(&co-op campaign) is short but a blast. Horde mode is rediculous fun playing on system link.

-Amazing Single player with great coop, great graphics, just plain fun, multiplayer is good when it connects
-Matchmaking is a pain if you're low on patience

I'm giving it a 9.5. This is definitely fun to play with two people even though most of the time I did not. The campaign may contain the most action I've ever seen in a video game (especially Act 5 which is like action on steroids). Horde mode is awesome. I never played matchmaking when it released, and while it isn't terrible now, there are sometimes you can find a match within seconds and other times it takes a few minutes. Also, I'm not a fan of letting people vote for what game they want to play, mainly because Execution gets chosen every time. Oh, and I forgot to mention that this is still the best looking 360 game.

I'm sort of like the opposite of CGI, I enjoyed this one more than the first one and still play it online from time to time.

And can you please exclude Garnett's score? That's a score from a hater and is not accepted. And CGI's score should also be excluded since he's a Sony fan (obviously he'd give Gears 2 at least 9.3 if it was a PS3 game).
