Forums - PC - L4D2 is $20 cheaper on PC than 360

Mouse is more accurate to the pixels  than a gamepad. Sure, pros of both PC and consoles have skils. I can't argue with that. I was answering to his question of "Why do you think the devs won't do crossplatform play?"

Yes it is but when everyone is using a gamepad all that matters is who is the better shot.

Actually I would love to see cross system play between the 360 and the PS3, that would be so epic.

Why do I care about the skill gap? Big skill gap just means a bottom heavy pool, with a lot of mediocre players and a few good ones. That's not interesting.

What's interesting are top heavy pools, where nobody is guaranteed to win because everyone is good.

Oh yeah, I'm comparing skill gap between PC and console players, not console/console players. PC players don't have the limitations of gamepads, so the games have naturally evolved to challenge other things like speed, timing, movement, etc.

Sigh... so now you are looking at strategy as part of a skill of a shooter? Why don't you jsut go play a strategy game or something? WHen I wanna shoot something, ffs I wanna shoot something, I don't wanna think about whether I will get shot in the as with 1 bullet and die. I have Civ IV, Total War, Warcraft, Starcraft, etc. to do my strategy on. But I guess since you use consoles you don't s I guess your argument does make some sense.
