Forums - Nintendo - Wii comments on MSNBC.com

i dont know what MS stands for, i am guessing NBC is a television channel though....most of the American channels seem to be 3 or 4 letters ending in C (for channel?) or TV (obvious)

I bet Conan will have one on his show, doing silly yoga poses. I remember him playing Wii Sports with Serena some time ago.

Yeah I remember watching that on Youtube Serena won Conan is the man

I remember me posting that video was half the reason I was banned from YouTube. =/

Strangely enough half of the comments on the MSNBC website are from women.

MSNBC is a 24 our news channel created by Microsoft and NBC.

I believe it's the least bias of the three 24 hour news channels and as a result the least watched. (Or is that CNN.  I forget which is which.)

I don't know why they would be editing. I've been to many threads on MSNBC and they don't edit the content so that everyone agrees with their newstory.

I think this is a good vibe of how the average consumer feels about the wii. These aren't the hardcore gamers obviously, but these are the people that comprise the majority of the american population (hardcore gamers are a small minority). I'm surprised that so many of them knew about wii fit, and intend on getting it. At first I doubted wii fit would hit high numbers like Nintendo seems to be thinking, but after reading this I think it's possible.

Hmmmmmmmm....

I think they're beginning to understand now why I'm so confident in my predictions on Wii Fit.

I'm very much in tune with the incoming audience of gameplayers.

Being a hardcore gamer, I honestly had no idea how many people were actually using the Wii to work out. But looking at this article and all the comments, I can say that WiiFit will be a massive hit if done correctly (which I know Ninty will pull through with a fun/healthy game).

Wii has the most female gamers IIRC.  That's not too surprising.

In related news, about half of the world's population consists of females.
