yes you can.
btw the cursed dragon drops slotted rank 10 katanas =P but super rare about it.
Like I got about 12 regular katanas before I got my rank 10 one and then I got about 10 of those before I got one with a slot.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.

They are really frequent in Gamble Boxes from what I recall.
not with slots though, gamble boxes don't really give R10 items with slots, with few exceptions.
I've concluded it's not possible. My R10's are from mobs, that's how I get slots in them.

Well I've gottent dozens of rank 10 wands from gamble boxes, all of which have slots. I got some maces, and other priest weapons with slots, and almost all of my high ranked equipment from them comes with slots. I don't know about swords and katana's though.
Sc your making me repeat myself.
Orc Wand, Ruby Staff, a few clubs have a set chance of appearing, but from what I've seen every other R10 weapon will not have slots unless found from mobs.

Hey you guys I'm stuck...just started part II and the commander guy told me to snoop around the towns. I went to nolz and went all the way to kill that dragon that was down there but nothing really happened. Do I have go to all of the dungeons?
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

1. The Dragon isn't the boss. Find the real boss. You will know by a cutscene.
2. Yes you have to go to all three dungeons of each village.
