Edit: Nvm, Um.. do they work like normal classes? It is asking for an Oath of Chivary. Can I still do other advanced classes if I pick one of them?

l had fun with those quests sc94597, questions: what was that number in the center?, and can l do with the rewards? (was my first time on line, l still don't know many things)

The number is how much time you have to finish the Quest, and Rewards can be used to make equipment later on.

l see, thx

YES! That "tough guy" skill helps a lot.

So wait, you can mix and match skills from various different classes, Final Fantasy Tactics style?

yea ken you can.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:

The Hunt Begins 4/20/2010 =D

Thank you for posting some impressions.
I have been looking around for honest impressions since the gameplay looks fun and I love real time action onine co op RPGs.

It seems like its a decent game but I really want to know about the Online. Is the online low lag and fun, do you have to know friends or can you play with random people easily? Is it the same as the single player or are there co-op specific levels? Are there lots of random people playing online or does it take awhile to find someone?

The online is the main reason I am thinking of getting this game. Some other side questions:
- melee fighters without weapons - combos or is it one button for attack

Im pretty sure I'm getting this game mainly thanks to this thread but wanted to ask those other questions. Thanks for any responses :)

Friends, the OP has a whole bunch of people to add though. You can't play with anybody else. Oh and the online has very little-no lag.

Only thing you can do online is side quests, and there is only about 15 or so to do. It is more for money and items. It is fun to see how your partners fight, other than that not really.

Are there lots of random people playing online or does it take awhile to find someone?

Friend codes. It is better to PM other people who you added at the start. After a while you should have enough people to have a game going at any time.

The online is the main reason I am thinking of getting this game.

Please don't get this game for the online alone. You Will  be dissapointed. The main focus is single player, the multiplayer is what feels like a tacked on extra.

Can't answer this.

This one I don't worry about too much since I have pretty much the same equipment that  bought in the beginning, but I think leveling up strength is part of it. The other part I don't know.
