Forums - Sony - Anyone bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 ?

Won't be out in Australia til next week, cbf getting this week one as I'll be busy as hell next week, so I'll probably grab it along with Uncharted 2 when I pick it up. Fully intend to get it though.

So how is the co-op? I've only played the 360 version and was intrigued when they added that feature but some reviewers didn't seem to like the addition.

It's not very deep. I expected something like exclusive new story based missions but basically, it's only a bunch of sequences from the games where there's a lot of ennemies/bosses.

lol thats pretty much all Ninja Gaiden is, so are the sections short?

Similar to the missions in NGS1. ( I think Ninja Gaiden Black had those on the Xbox).

Typically you have to kill around 30-40 enemies, more and a few bosses at the end for the harder missions. No exploring, it's all in the same location.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Yeah I got the game today. Reached mission 10 before calling it quits for the day. Brilliant game. Someone said Ninja cinema doesn't work/ You have to play team mission. Thats the only thing it records

it records chapter challenge too.

Basically everything where scoring is involved can be recorded.

It doesn't record the story mode because that would be too many records.

When doing chapter challenge you save a ninja cinema at every save point if you want so just for a single chapter you get like 4-5 movies..

Otherwise NGS2 warrior mode is a tad too easy but mentor mode gets harder and more in line with the difficulty you would expect...( if you have any Ninja Gaiden experience you don't really die outside of bosses fight in warrior mode, things change in mentor mode though..)

PS : I'm not sure what kind of kid games the guy complaining about the lack of blood plays where there are dismembered people everywhere... This is definitly not a game for kids...

Yeah I noticed that after finishing the game. Game saves take up to much space though but there good for watching yourself fight. Helps you improve your game.

This game will take countless playthroughs to platnum. I've already finishef it twice and only unlocked 1 of the 1000 kills with a weapon trophey lol. Its good though because it will stop a lot of trophey whores from getting it.

ive just started act 4, what a superb game. i was stuck on the tunnel boss made out of metal finally figured out.

mission modes are fun, someone asked what are they like! they are basically clearence challenges thats done with 2 people, online coop or ai local coop. a great addition imo.

*ONE PROBLEM I NOTICED that i hated on NG2, was the 5 second pause and load whilst fighting. it happend to me on act 2 when you are making your way up to genshin fight. i dived out of the way into the next room and it did that dreaded load. but thats once so far up until act 4.

on NG2 it did it very frequntly.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Actually what will stop most trophy whores is team missions Master Ninja 1-5 and Ultimate ninja missions 1-3.( noone in the world had beaten some of those, looks like you will need luck and 2 players of MNM skills...)

That and beat MNM and score MNM on every chapter in MNM in chapter replay challenge...
