Forums - Gaming - Enough is enough: Where's the Lost Planet 2 hype?

Wait, don't you mean "Not enough is enough!"? I played the demo and I can't see myself playing it alone or online with random people. I'ts good if you have a good team, otherwise it feels...suckish.

I think LP2 will be a 3 million seller on the 360...which is going to blow some doors off for the publisher!

Come on man. Don't be like that.

Since we're on the topic of sales, I wonder how LP2 will do in Japan? The first managed 100k on the 360, which is high for a 360 title, but only 70k on ps3. Of course, that could be explained by the fact that the ps3 version was a shitty (and very late) port.

Given the Western feel of the game, I'm kinda surprised it did so well on the 360 in Japan, despite being a Capcom title. Given how much more Japanese-y the sequel feels (the game is less space marine and more crazy Japanese guys with guns), and given that it plays almost like Monster Hunter with guns, I think it could do a decent bit better in Japan than the first did. Releasing simultaneously on both platforms will certainly help as well.

The sequel just feels more like a Capcom game than the first did.

Will you buy it for me??
After Tekken 6, Demon's Souls, Uncharted1, Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legends... I'm gonna be broke... Heck... I'm broke now...

I have to remind everybody that LP1 was mainly about online with story as a training mode( was even stated by CAPCOM) so if you only played the campaign and thats it i could possibly see issue

Seeing as how I have dial-up  this makes it even more of not purchase then it was before

I notice you say that alot.i have Dial up too and have no issues..wats wrong?...did anybody try ANY of the LP2 demos????

I am most intrigued with how you got the demo using dial-up.

ok??...maybe i dont hsve dial up???...

Xxain, LP 2 is very good. Very fun and more tactical than the first one with the bosses. It has nice graphics too. REALLY good improvement over the first..

But compared to the other releases going on, it doesn't stand a chance.

-Co-op? Uncharted 2 kills it IMO.

-Multiplayer? MW2 owns it.

-Campaign? I would say uncharted 2. Could probably be Demon's Souls...idk, have yet to play the game. Other games coming out make LP 2 look small.

With that said, I might get it. If I still have money...

( The above was my opinion)
