Well, at least I know one person actually watched the video...

You got through to one person and that's all that matters :P

Nope but I can't wait for it to release. I'm getting it ASAP.

I don't know about throwing parties, but I will be enjoying my free download.

The tinyXP guys already have a stripped down version of windows 7 out.... so I hear

Well, I get the Professional edition for free at my university.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Been using Windows 7 for a while. I got to tell you, it's great stuff.

Core i7, 4 gb dc RAM, GeForce 295 GTX (coming soon). Exciting stuff.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

If I were taking a computer science class I could, but I guess I'll have to stick with the student $30 deal for Professional. :(

Damn you university!

I want to get the 64-bit version for when I upgrade, but I don't think my current hardware is worth 64-bit (e2160 overclocked and 2gigs ddr2).

I'll have an "I keep on staying with Kubuntu+XP again" tea time instead.

When I read that now they don't sell SW anymore, but "experience", it helped me decide that I'll buy another Windows when they stop playing the clown.

Edit @Pyramid Head:

I'd still be with Kubuntu+Win2000 too, on the desktop, but alas my GPU was almost totally unsupported by it, it did only 640x480@8bit, and I couldn't install XP drivers for it whatever trick I tried.

@Alby

thats too bad, i only run music writing stuff and the net on my pc, no games (aside from the odd starcraft throwdown), so 2000 is stable rock for me

Nah i'm good with Vista.
Windows 7 will be buggy as hell at launch, don't bother buying it on launch, wait for them to fix it.
