Ok, i'm not the type to do this. But i've had this game since Monday and i haven't played anything else. I've literally spent all my time playing this game just for the "Success Mode."
It combines like the best of oldschool baseball games, new baseball games and rpgs in the success mode, with a dating sim thrown in on the side.
The rest of the modes are a lot of fun as well, but there is nothing like that success mode for building a team of characters, it's got a lot of humor in it too.
If you have a Wii, it's 10 dollars cheaper then your average game i can't see why. If you have a PS3, buy the PS2 version. If you have a PS2, of course get the PS2 version as well.
If you have all 3 i'd go for the Wii version, the Wiimote, Numchuck combo is suprisingly a very comfortable setup, plus it looks like the game might support Gamecube and Classic Controls, I haven't tried them but my plugged in gamecube controller was on it's side and it sent the cursor moving.
It's probably already my favorite baseball game of all time. (Which is saying something since unlike Football baseball has had some pretty strong titles on all consoles.) I can't speak highly enough about it.
Also it hasn't sold well at all so who knows if it'll ever get a new version. Then again it might since it's based off the Japanese series. I have 5 new games still sitting in their packages because this game is so awesome.
